 This was a completely last minute entry, but I'm really happy with how it turned out. I had been planning to do a photoshoot with this object for quite awhile and had several ideas of things to do. Due to time constraints though I was forced to rush a picture. Hopefully it does well, I'm predicting it to get an average of a 5.1.

Well you were pretty bang on the money with you prediction.

I didn't vote in this challenge, but would likely have given it a 6. I am not sure why did not score higher than you did. The image is well composed and the technicals are fine apart from the blown out bit in the middle.

I am wondering if this was just not that unusual?

It could be me, but it just seems like the white balance is "off" a little.
