Simply Beautiful! Nice macro - I'm amazed by the clarity and detail. Great bokeh as well.

I am very new to photography so take my comments accordingly!!! The clarity is very good. I spent a good deal of time looking at the head of the plant. The detail is exceptional. I guess that in a competition like this B&W pics probably start off 1 to 2 points lower than where they should be. I am sure that some color would have placed you very near the top. I know you have done that in the past and I think it would have worked here as well. I do think its a great gallery shot and will try in the future not to be prejudiced against B&W pics. I think your work is inspiring.

This works really well in black and white; there is another three-seeds-left image in color as I'm sure you've noticed. In any event - you've done a good job of meeting the challenge with a well composed and exposed bit of nature.

Everyone has to have at least one dandelion in their portfolio! This one is so nice; effective dof and clarity. Two of the 'fairies' are just ever so slightly out of focus, but it hardly matters. Nice work. 9

wonderful DOF creating an ethereal effect. the detail in the seedlings is wonderful. makes me want to fly away with them. :)

I think B&W works very well here, very nice contrast :) The DoF is good, keeping the whole subject in focus, and throwing the background slightly off :) 9

So clear, clean and simple. The detail is amazing, the soft background works so well on this. The color tone is rich and the subject is perfectly placed. A 10 from me.

I`ve seen a large number of these images in the last few weeks and begun to tire of them....You have just rejuvenated me.. I think this image is absolutely superb and will be making it a favourite after the challenge.

Beutiful picture, the black and white adds great mood here, I think mabey a horizontal flip could have worked fine here, So that the eyes would end at those three little fluffy things, good luck :)

I like the lighting and natural setting in this one a bit better than the studio dandilion. The B&W brings out the textures even better and the dapples of the backgound give context.
