Excellent color contrast! Ordinarily I wouldn't think this a very interesting photo, but in the context of the contest, definitely superb!

you say lamps, but I only see one..the combination of orange and blue of the falling night is a nice one.

Very nice use of color and very fitting for the challenge. I wonder if it would have been better with less DOF. I find the posts and the house in the background detract from the mood of this image.
