 The description said to 'be creative', so this is me trying to be creative. It's just an experiment really. Will be interesting to see how it scores. My glasses have never been so well polished!

Sat 30th May - Pretty much half way through the week & OMG! This has been rising steadily from 6.6 @ 50 to now 7.1 @ 152. That's an average of 7.4 over the last 100 votes. For a still life! WOW! I am thrilled!

Post Challenge Crikey! I never got up at 5.00am for rollover before but it was well worth it! That little screen while the scores are calculated really adds to the tension. lol!

Thanks so much for the amazing comments and scores that got me this oh so scary PB. It has been fascinating to watch this rise from 6.6 during the week. I fear it may be some time before I hit these lofty heights again so I best enjoy it!

Never really noticed before but I lost 18 votes on the scrubber but jumped .2 so no need to be worrying about those 1's after all! hehe!

Thanks again, I am thrilled by this.

I have a feeling it won't be long at all before you top this lofty height :) Your photography is amazing! And you have done so well since only January 2009! There have been a few wine glass photos -- but I don't remember any of them being this flawlessly clean and beautiful.

How did you get all that beautiful colorful light? I've never even tried something like this because I'm more of a natural light person -- but something like this certainly inspires me. Congratulation on your well-deserved first place ribbon -- and to have reached such a personal lofty height :)

WOW .. this is incredibly excellent .. how clever .. i cant imagine how difficult it would be to get a shot like this .. the setting up and the lighting and everything ... its a brilliant result .. i'm loving those soft pastel blurred colours ..

lovely soft warm tones. seems to lack the razor sharpness often associated with this type of image but in this case that might not be a bad thing. good luck
