 This door actually exists, i can't find anyone to tell me why, nor the background to it, however if you look at it very closely it says "Very Expensive Restaurant"...."Small meals at large prices".... Now what that means i dunno...!

I shot several takes by holding the camera at ground level using a wide angle lens. I really wanted the shot in the other direction then you could see a real door behind it, but it didn't look right, this one did. I also toyed with having a someone walk past as I was taking it but being early on a Sunday morning the wife wouldn't get out of bed.....!

Then using TOPAZ filter "Dramatic Portrait" ( I think ) setting to give it some more fine detail. Spot of cropping, spot of burning ( not much ) and there we go.....

Had hoped for a mid 6, held close to 7 all week, hopeful...!

Excellent image Alan; when I look at the theme, it fits it so well too. Very well done!

(As I was looking through your shot settings one thing intrigued me: How did you use a EF-S lens on a full frame?)

Very effective work with Topaz -- the perfect subject. Really brought out the light and texture. Of course it didn't hurt to have a fabulous subject to shoot for this challenge. Congratulations on your ribbon!
