 Had a load of fun with this making a textured background with all kinds of textures including concrete, bark .... I just kept playing. Overlayed the morepork, then another morepork layer and isolated the bird so he showed out more. Frame was just one of the ps brushes going round the edge.

Bird is a morepork made out of punga log found in a friend's garden.

You would think that having a background and subject being very similar that it wouldn't work but it does and well!

I really like that texture a lot. I've made a few, but mostly rely on others. LOL This has a whimsical feel to it.
