 The rings are out-of-focus water drops and are characteristic of mirror lens. This was shot with a 500 mm f8 mirror lens, the flower was backlit by the rising sun and there was a drew shrub in front providing the water drops.

Interesting idea, good execution. While my eye is drawn away from the flower by the distractions, it is always drawn back.

A very interesting submission. A great idea, but the execution of the photo maybe didn't quite do ity justice. The flower looks way too fake for me, and I feel you lose a lot of the overall impact as a result of that. The yellow I feel needed to be a strong, bold, bright yellow, and not the colour you have in this. A vibrant colour would ahve made it stand out, and make a statement, above everything else.

Honestly, Not sure how this capture convey Focus!!
I like the flares .. allot and those circles, technically the picture is amazing .. but not sure it convey focus.
This is of course my humble opinion, I hope my comment is taken in a positive way, all the best, 6

This is great. It's quite rare around here to see meaningful pictures, so illustrative of their title. Nice processing, you probably made the best out of your photo!
