I really like this, but you should try to maximize according DP rules.

This is really nice.

I don't know how much you messed with the levels, but I think it would be possible to keep everything relatively the same, and remove the distracting curves on the left side. That would make a lot better, in my opinion. And I really like the looks through the window. Very cool, and good photo. 7.

I like the capture of the lights and the shimmery looking glass. I'm not as nuts about the composition. The chandelier (candleabra ?) seems to be falling out of the lower half of the frame and the curvy moulding against the dark curtain keeps drawing my eye. This looks like a beautiful room, by the way.

This could be a very good pic, but it's too small to tell! Please use the maxium size you can when entering next time!

Size issue - you've used way under half the available pixels, under two thirds of the available file size. Even without great software, I would think you could get this image larger. I think I quite like the image, though I always have the feeling with these small shots that something is being hidden by that re-sizing, that maybe the fine detail is missing and just doesn't register so much at this size. 5

The lights with their visible filaments make an interesting subject. I think the light coming in the window is a bit too much competition for them - this photo might work better taken at a different time of day.

strange atmosphere you created...but who's john, why is he having those strange lights on his table and what is the other disturbing thing on the table? All in all..you didn't really used the light to actually light the scene a bit more...this picture raises questions..

I wish very much that this photo was larger so I could really enjoy the details you've captured. I love the old style fillament bulbs and the old glass that accentuates the DOF in the window. The irregularness of the bulb placment is really nice.

nice shot, exposure is spot on. like the blur on the window. max size of the photo is 640px on the longest side. would have been better if the photo was bigger.
