Yes Yes Yesssssssssss :) Its about fridgin time to get a ribbon :) My Firsttttttttttt :) Now I wont be able to sleep :)

Another update: This is the living room, I had to remove the carpet and all the side and midle table, to keep only the wall and floor which have the same tones and colors. And Yes, it is a paint not a wall papper :) This wall in particular took us 11 hours nonstop work and a 12Redbulls to get it done :)

How do I get a wall like this?!!
Guys .. it became really embarrassing question :) The amount of PMs and posts asking me how did I do this wall are amazing :) Made me feel I wont a Ribbon on internal design :)

At the link I sent you from Rona, you will find the design that we were looking for, which came nothing close to what we ended up with.
The idea is simple, colors, mix them with glaze, and sponge them to get this effect. Simple .. right?
When we did this wall, we totally forgot to mix the colors with glaze, so we ended up with something close to midday wall. That was quickly turning to concrete, I had to letterly wash the colors inch by inch from the wall, then try again. We ended up with this wall .. which as I said was nothing close to what we had in mind.
Good pointer: If you scre&%^d up your wall, you can always call it art :)

Brilliant colors, Congratulations on your first ribbon which is well deserved by the way. this shot has a fresh aspect and a perfect Composition.

well now i know the artist this takes on new meaning .. its such a wonderful shot ..
its amazing how mistakes can turn out to be so positive when we look at the big picture .. !!
in this case i'm talking about your wall but it works in real life as well .. :)..

Lol, this would be the easy way out :) I'll try to give it another go for the 7, it is almost impossible to get it nowadays at DPC :) Cheers,

This is one of the first ribbon winners in a long time that I actually enjoy looking at. It has a story hidden in there, and the color play is pretty divine. I would love my walls painted like that!

Susan, If it wasn't up to the continues critique I receive from you, I don't think I would've been able to make it to the front page.
You told me before and let me quote your words '' A really strong entry, sadly the dramatic use of lighting didn't resonate with most DPCiers. However, you can either shoot to please the DPC crowd, or you can (and imho) should shoot to please yourself. '',

I followed it to the letter, I was shooting to please myself, and paid extra attention to the lighting, YOU got me a ribbon, and I thank you for that :)
