 dark picture of the moon through tree branches. severe crop. curves. reduce noise. gaussian blur. calculations to b/w. resize, and then a crazy sharpen with a huge radius. selective color to try to create some new color. then I made a new layer and painted the dark areas with red and the light areas with black, merging with overlay(I think) at low opacity. don't think I don't work for my browns!

With a little effort i can see the moon... but i think its too abstract and noisy...

I don't know why, but I am intrinsically drawn to this image. The noise should bother me, but instead I am intrigued. Well done. 10 from me.
