 Old bottle and a dead leaf from my Bougainvillea plan. Shined light from the bottle of glass. Shot in raw. Opened in raw converter did some tweaking, then opened in photo shop.
Duplicated layer.
Changed blending mode to overlay and applied high pass filter.
Changed mode to lab color, selected apply image, changed blending mode to soft light selected the a channel. Flattened image.

I wanted to look at this at home with my calibrated monitor. It's very artistic and pretty. Look at all that detail in the leaves and dark black background! This appears lit up and luminous and meets the challenge better than many of the entries. IMHO it should be in the top 10!
