Awesome capture. What lens did ya use? Were ya handheld or tripod? Whats unusual about the point of view?

Nice photo, even if the focus is a bit soft. You lose points because the viewpoint is not unusual enough! |

I think this needs more depth of field, the feathers on the bird's chest and neck are not as sharp as they could be |

Lovely, well focused picture of a hawk. To me, it doesn't really show an unusual viewpoint. Also, to me, I would have liked the picture better without such a close crop - it looks like this poor bird has it's wings chopped off. |

I really like your bird photo, but there seems to be a loss of detail in the feathers around the neck. Did you use a noise reduction filter? If so, try selecting just the background for noise reduction and leave the subject areas with greater detail. Jpeg compression can also make an image look 'muddy' by smearing out fine details, especially when the compression process is repeated several times. |
