The monotone look and the outline of the closer rocks gives this pic an eerie feel. The blown out horizon detracts a little but not enough to deter from the overall mood of the shot.

Technically competant, this would have worked much better if the skyline and ridge profile had been cropped out. If that had been the choice, this image would have had much more pop and wow factor because of the dramatic lighting, monotone feel and use of low shutter speed to create the smooth and effective water flow effect. A good entry into the challenge.

Even though the challeneg topic is darkness, i feel this image is too dark overall. The loss of the detail in the rocks, i think through your processing, means that it has lost much of the impact for me. The Vignette doesn't work for me. I think without it and a little more detail in the foreground, the image could have been improved.
