 I remember feeling pretty much like this as I waited for the weather to warm up enough to allow for those fantastic summertime swims.

I haven't entered a challenge since February and just was feeling the need for the fun distraction of the update button. My original idea had my boy in a sneaking pose, ready to move in for the "kill", but I ended up liking the mood of this shot better.

Shot at our kitchen table...just had to remove a picture from the wall. Shot in RAW - RAW conversions. Photoshop - neat image, brightness/contrast, burning/dodging, minor cloning, selective color, b&w conversion, curves, crop, vignette, save for web.

I'm thinking this looks like the table in the other one. Same duck too? Are you putting together a diptych? Love the lighting and the smooth skin in this. Cute scene.

Very nice composition, contrast, and exposure. Although he is probably looking down and eyes aren't shut, still looks as though the eyes are closed. Not that it takes away too much from the shot, but could be better if eyes were actually visible. Nicely done.

Love the lighting and the dutone/high key. A slight change in angle/perspective might have shown him looking at Ducky, instead of looking asleep.

Simple and effective - a candid look at good times ahead. This image demonstrates effective use of the zone system and has no significant technical defects. The image conveys a mood and whistfulness that has been unmatched so far in this challenge - a very different look at the everyday life of a boy. Well done.
