A really lovely image of a great looking flower. I feel like I am nit-picking, but I think that a slight increase in exposure, contrast and saturation would make this pop. |

Fun to notice details on something you've probably seen a million tmes before, isn't it? Pretty flower but after reading the other comments I think I will stay far away from this one in person! |

Gregory, that's so sad about your dog.
We grew up with an oleander tree beneath our windows so we were told again and again how poisonous it was and we were petrified to go near it. Plus that bush was ALWAYS infested with aphids. Eew. :-P |

Beautiful picture. Horrible bush. A branch of an oleander actually killed one of my dogs. My daughter was throwing a stick to him and he was retrieving it for her - he was dead within hours. |

Oleanders are so pretty, in whatever colour. This delicately shaded pink is one of the prettiest and makes a charming picture with its red buds and green leaves. I am suprised that they get infested with caterpillars in Sth Florida ( yakatme) because they are seriously poisonous. It just goes to show that everything has its place in the chain of life.

We have lots of Oleander here in South Florida. Here, this plant would soon be a great place to photography caterpillars. They love them and get infested with them.
Nice sharp image with good focus and bokeh. |
