this is superb .. love the way you've misted out the background ... altho it could'v been like that .??. but its so excellent the way the bird stands out against it ..
amazing details in the bird too ..
it would make the best book cover or poster .. its a brilliant image .. :)

I love the clarity in this shot, and the smoky atmospheric background - is this Australia by any chance? Victoria?

A solid image that is crisp, sharp and properly framed and composed - a technical success in every way. From an artistic standpoint, it has significant impact being richly colored with excellant detail. This image would have worked as a black and white as well. A perfect demonstration of the power of properly controlled light and focus.
