Do I detect just a touch of color? The Topaz served you well to bring out the detail in the water in this! |

I love the detail. Maybe I don't have enough imagination, but I can't tell if you're seeing a face in the whole splash or in the solid water part of it on the bottom. I can sort of imagine a face in both. The B&W conversion works well here, though I usually don't care for B&W in seascapes. I promise to start posting mine soon. |

it actually seems almost 3 dimensional now - very cool and that contrast generated here is just awesome |

The contrast of the water is really picked up nicely. This is a shot you'd take with Topaz PP in mind, which really makes it pop. |

It's amazing how clear the water splash is - I can almost feel the cold of the water. I can see this is going to be a fun tool to play with. |

So much more dramatic than the original! This is going to be a fun month. |

One of the things Topaz does best is pull out detail like this, so in that sense the image is wildly effective. Talking in terms of composition and all that good stuff, it's a little chaotic, but what the hey! |

what a difference the original seems so flat and the after pops out at you. |

Wow, I can tell already I'm going to really enjoy seeing what people come up with for this challenge. Such a difference between the before & after! And I think the desat suits this image nicely. |
