really tough scene to expose for. I think in this case you have to either shoot multiple exposures and use HDR or make a choice. Keep the detail in the highlights or try to get the detail in the shadows. With the sky you have I would have tried to hold the detail in the highlights. |

A solid image that is crisp, sharp and properly framed and composed - a technical success in every way. From an artistic standpoint, it has significant impact being richly colored with excellant detail. A perfect demonstration of the power of properly controlled light and focus. Well done. |

Great shot of landscape. I was told once, that if you have to point out the center of attention in a landscape shot, you need to recompose it to bring it out. I think it is the tree and how it contributes to the overall shot, but the clouds are a bit overwelming. Maybe the use of a filter when you shot the photo, or a gradient to soften the sky after you took the shot. Good luck, Mike |
