 I almost didn't submit this picture because I could almost see the results already. It didn't grab me a whole lot, but out of the pictures I took, this one stood out the most.

Why is this in a contest - it is a very poor photograph

I like the concept of backlighting the tree but it blows out the tree in this instance, IMO.

Nice sunset, but I would have cropped out most of the lower part. The dark space is a bit too much, distracts the eye from the tree.
  Photographer found comment helpful.
