Brilliant! That puckered up face-on, the soft white of the feathers and the juxtaposition of the red red legs.... |

Wonderful closeup of these very unpredictable creatures. Beautiful capture of the eyes and texture around the beak of the stationary bird, and of the red of the legs against the white of the body and tail of the bird in flight. |

A different take on the challenge, and one that works well. |

An amazing juxtaposition of bodies, it's almost abstract is it feel and impact. While not technically a motion shot in it's entirety, it certainly has those elements in it which has to be viewed positively. From a technical standpoint, it appears to have the reds over saturated indicated by the slight red halo around the lower birds breast area and the very slight red color cast on the body of the flying bird. These minor technical issues are sufficiently negative to affect the rating. From an artistic standpoint, while effective, the image lacks impact or wow factor. Still a worthy entry into the challenge as it should place within the top twenty. Well done. |
