Paul, I think the LB and architectural subject matter are perfectly suited for one and another. Seriously, it's one of my very favorite things to do...grab the cam w/the LB on and walk around town when the light is fab. Don't give up on the buildings.

I submitted this on 1x.com where it was rejected and subsequently critiqued; I agreed with all of the comments. In the final analysis, the effect probably isn't best suited to the subject. However, I do still like it but I think my recent attempts at Lensbaby flowers are better aligned with the affordances of the lens.

Very stark and dramatic, and almost has the appearance of a model building. I'm curious why you think this is "less successful" - it looks just fine to me.
