 I've been spending alot of time on the Golf Course now that the weather is getting warmer here in New York. I examined the landscape around each of the 18 holes and most of the trees were bare. These two graced the green on hole #2 and I also used the tree on the right for this month's Free Study challenge.

PRE- PROCESS: Single JPEG, Vivid color enhancement + 3 in-cam and the White Balance set on Auto w/ +3 Bracketing for a 5 foot range. Focused on foreground, just under the shadow.

POST PROCESS: Cloned out some flare, Levels adjustment, Gradient Fill Layer/Black/-50% Opacity and blended from left side of frame, Shadows/Highlight balancing, Contrast raise + 8, and a few rounds of Gaussian Blur combined with some USM.

Love the colors, especially that of the tree. The shadow across the foreground is distracting.
