 It seems to me that pencils are being made much cheaper these days. As soon as we sharpen them, the lead falls out. It's very annoying! We go thru so many pencils, just with the sharpening. And then if you are lucky, you will find the one magical pencil in the box of 20 that actually holds the lead - whoo hoo! If you've never had to sharpen pencils for kids, this whole paragraph is lost on you lol.

Quite a lovely macro indeed. And yeah, been awhile since I sharpened any pencils (I use mechanical ones) but I know exactly what you mean. And hey, 12th is a nice place.
