A little better lighting control reducing the highlights would have been a plus. Not an overly interesting image from an artistic sense, it does provide a lot of detail and color differences. A little more thought into the composition would have made for a better image. A good entry into the challenge, it falls just short of being truly effective. |

and then you said: to hell with trains, i'm going home. at least i got nice star trails. why don't trains run at night?!?! |

I don't think the tilt does much for this pic to be honest. The ladder and that post are the first thing I notice and it's such a strong silhouette that it's hard for me to look away to find the tracks buried in the darkness. Stars look great, though. |
