So THAT'S what happened to old Nokl! I was wondering where he went to!
I'm afraid this one stands out to me as a dead 5. Sorry. Nothing wrong with it at all. The composition is decent, the b/w conversion has good tones, but nothing really grabs my interest, either. I'm curious what the color version looks like. |

| Simple and effective, the sky could have used a little more treatment increasing the dramatic nature of this image. A very nice grayscale image, it does suffer a little bit from being flat in tone. A little more use of the zone system in adjusting brightness and contrast would have helped a lot. A good solid entry into the challenge. |

| I like the contrasts, too bad there weren't some big thunder clouds, or breaks in the clouds - but i like the even flow of the shot. |
