I gave this a 7 in voting. It's very clear, a good photo. I'd like to see more of the train, though, the left side just seems too chopped off.

Nice perspective. I can hear the whistle and feel it coming towards me. Run!

A nice crisp, sharp image in which an unfortunate crop or capture with the extreme offset ruins the overall impact and all the non-engine space is distracting. From a technical standpoint, this is as good as it gets, but artistically, it fails to impart any sense of being about trains, etc. A good solid try, just falls a little short.

Interesting composition, you can tell this train has got places to go. I think the clarity of the trees is a little distracting since they take up so much of the frame, if they were a little softer I think the focus would be more on the engine.
