Well, it's shaped like a crayon at least.

Your processing rocks! But it seems a stretch for the challenge. Good luck!

Maybe that's supposed to resemble a giant crayon? If so, I'd shoot from a lower angle so the top touched the sky, make the sky blue and desaturate everything else. Background has some odd texture to it that looks too much like PP effects for my taste.

i don't see the connection to crayons or colored pencils. Even if it is done using these mediums it would be good to have a colored pencil there to show this.

Well, I guess this is the crayon filter in PS! It's actually rather neat. I hope you don't finish last, unless that was the goal.

I can see you used the artist brushes, but IMO your shot DNMC

This shot doesn't work for me. I know what you're trying to do but it just doesn't speak to me from the brightness to the color and contrast.

Is this like where's waldo? But instead where's the crayon?

I am dying to know the background and details for this one. Looks like an oil painting. Foreground with the texture of water and rocks is making me much happier than the greys and blacks in the background.

There is outside the box and then there is outside the box. This is the later. Unfortunately, it fails to have a solid creative impact if only because the effect is way too subtle. However, as a unique entry, it more than meets the criteria in this reviewer's opinion.

I hate it when I start to think I must be dumb for not getting it.

I hate to say this, but I am having a really hard time spotting any crayons or colored pencils in this.

And this relates to the challenge how? Not fond of the processing applied to this.
