The lighting is a little too soft and the sky is flat which detracts from what could have been a top entry into the challenge. Just shy of being a technical and artistic success. A good solid entry into the challenge.

Very cool service vehicle. Any idea what this thing does? While I was out shooting for the gas stations challenge, I took a pic of a maintenance train that essentially cleans the rocks under the railway. Took me some research to find out what it was, however.

The pic itself may just need a little boost in wow-factor to make it more DPC-friendly

I think the light from the fill flash feels a bit harsh in this (the shadows give it away). The telephone wire is distracting as well. I might suggest a different angle for this shot since you can't edit out the line in Basic.
