i like the lighting and how you set up the shot. your post processing looks very good too. i'm not sure the shallow dof adds anything to highlight the texture, i'd like it a bit more of the closer crumbles were also in focus

Looks delicious. Focus is spot on and DOF is nice, though I'd like a bit more so all of the cheese is in focus.

If the foreground had been in focus with a drop off to the back or vice versa or from right to left or left to right this would have been a stunning image and would have effectively demonstrated man made texture. A good concept with a flawed execution. Having said that, it still works well and should score higher than average.
