Very nice shot !!! When I first saw it....I wasn't sure if I was looking out of a window , or...seeing a reflection of a sunset behind !!! It was only after looking more closely that I got my answer ....and it just made me enjoy it that much more !!! Good Luck !!! |

Simple but effective distancing, making the sunset much more interesting by surrounding it with context and texture. |

I like the play of the bleakness of the room and the drama of the sky. |

Ever so subtle and excellant white control and the unique sunset treatment make an image that demonstates the subject matter of the challenge in spectacular fashion. Both a technical and artistic success that more than adequately meets the challenge subject in particular with the color shades. A very worthy contender for top ten honors and a possible ribbon contender. |

My second favorite so far.Temporary rating of 5 for sorting purposes only. My Red ribbon choice after seeing all the shots in the challenge. Bumped to 9. |

Is this the same room that the sleeping dog was shot in? I like the texture and the scenery outside the window works well. |

Lovely colours out the window, and the contrast between the wall and the scene outside is very well done. Texture (wall and broken glass) seems to be a lesser part of this shot though. |

The negative space next to the window is a nice touch--but--the horozontal boards or slats are very distracting and throw the pix off. |
