levels, contrast, bright, usm, channel mixer in adjustment layer to obtain monochrome. slight cloning in the ball to clean it up.

it's hard to find an unusual viewpoint on a spherical object - surely it looks the same no matter what angle you take the picture from... i don't think a golf ball is the best choice of material - although if you got in closer and cropped it so you couldn't tell it was ball-shaped, it would be a bit more unusual. technically, the shot has really decent focus, but methinks is a bit on the noisy side?
