Certainly you met the Challenge, and gave us a good view of industry at night as well. Good one! |

a.k.a. an homage to geewhy's after dark entry :-). I like the symmetry or asymmetry depending on how you look at it.

Know the place well..since I worked there for 20 odd years....you`ve made a good job of capturing the plant because all the old depressions started to well up as soon as I looked at it.
Well done...10 |

Nice picture for this challenge. The trees in the front form an interesting effect and the steam or smoke also add a nice effect. The whole picture is a bit noisy which is sometimes hard to avoid with night pictures. |

Wonderful exposure!!!!. Definately fits the challenge! I would love to see this blown up The fact that you exposed so everything else ( forground and background) were blacked out, is what makes this phtoo pop!
Great job |

You Scots have all the locations :-) This seems very noisy (the smoke) - and I wonder if that is having an effect on what I'm seeing as a lack of fine detail in the pipework here. I'm not completely convinced about the silhouetted bushes/trees in foreground either: in fact, I rather think there isn't enough location here, just that pattern of lights and pipes, but without enough drama to grab me. were it my shot, I'd parhps have tried early evening (late evening at the moment, I suspect), to keep some sky and surrounding detail. 6 |

Lol, that's taking multiple light sources to the extreme!! I like the composition with the trees, however I think if they were a bit lower showing a bit more of the main subject, it might have had a bit more impact. I like it a lot though. |

I like this shot a lot, it is one of my favorites. I only wish I could see more detail but that's really tough when you are limited to such small resolution. Great shot. |
