You have beautifully captured texture...and in such an artistic way !!! I Love the Bold colors and the reflection !!! This will be a tough competition ( there are so many beautiful Photo's ) But yours is one of my favorite and I wish you the best of luck !!!

i like the way you lit this shot but i can't see as much detail in the peel as i'd like to really get a feeling for the texture. the reflection is really cool

An image that demonstates the subject matter of the challenge in spectacular fashion with excellant DOF and color control. Both a technical and artistic success that more than adequately meets the challenge subject in particular with the color shades. A very worthy contender for top ten honors and a possible ribbon contender.

Coming back to comment... I like the idea of using an orange peel to show texture. Nice lighting and focus, I just wish the dimples on the peel were a little deeper to show the texture better. 7.
