wow lydia .. this is a brilliant bee shot ... he's such an interesting little bee, quite different from the little honey bees we get around here .. i love the excellent details you've captured and his incredibly sharp eyes .. :)
ps .. thankyou for your comment on my robberfly .. i reckon i copped a bashing from the ppl who didnt like seeing the same scene twice .. 12 votes of 3 and under, 5 of them 1's .. i cant understand how ppl can think a photograph is worthy of a ribbon in one challenge and then a very similar one is less than ordinary in another .. especially when its the free study .. :)

A good solid image that is crisp, sharp and properly framed and composed - a technical success in every way. From an artistic standpoint, it is an intersting image and appeals to the viewer in a positive way that is much different from some previous bug/bee images. A good entry into the challenge.
