 This photo was cropped only, I was taking water drop photos and loved the smooth texture and color of the photos when cropped down, I used a flash, f4, ISO 100 and ss of 125, timing the drops until I got a shot with ripples and NO splash. I saw the challenge and thought it fit, so I recreated the set up and shot it again.

At first glance it looks like ripples from a drop of liquid but after closer inspection it looks like an actual piece of silk positioned to look like that. Well done in that regard. Composition looks good but maybe a little more exposure and more dof would improve the overall shot.

The photo doesn't seem to have much definition. Wish the ripples were less soft.

the color is great and i really like how the light has created a pattern of N's from left to right

A simple image which is quite beautiful with soft gentle curves, sweeping undulations and excellant color tone control. Very effective and has a lot of visual impact immediately on viewing. A worthy contender and an almost certain top ten contender.
