Not sure you needed to explain it in the title but okay. You've got an original here. Well in this challenge at least. The texture of the snow is very intriguing indeed. The snow is a little gray and could use a little bump in exposure. There aren't any other spots in the shot that would suffer from it so it wouldn't hurt. Or alternately (or even in addition) you could change the color temp to just a bit warmer. |

An excellant example of how to control light in highly reflective conditions. The snow is not overly white and the author avoided the temptation to add a overly blue cast to the snow to bring out it's features. A solid entry into the challenge. |
