| Well done. The leaf is just a tiny bit overexposed but to change that there would be trade of and I think the trade off wold make the dark areas too dark or make the image a little too flat overall. So it works well the way it is. I like the b/w choice. Perhaps if the leaf was red and there were no other reds in the shot then adjustment of the luminance in the reds would bring the leaf down slightly on brightness? The dof is right on here. Good job. |

the leaf alone carries so much content & can almost smell the autumn leaf scent.
the chain links give an odd but effective border although it takes away from the leafy texture by the time I get to the top of the frame, I think a closer crop would have better accentuated your idea |

| A nice clean image with a delicate sweep of focused area deftly treated with a clever use of DOF. The highly figured leaf only enhances the image's impact on the viewer. This should be a top twenty image and certainly a worthy contender for a ribbon. |
