 Taken on the back garden mountain of snow that has been here all winter and is just beginning to melt. Clouds were moving and five minutes later sky was completely white. PP Some crop, levels, curves, very small saturation, removed small dirt marks on snow and usm, sfw.

**Critique Club**

I think a few of your commenters hit the nail on the head. It's a good shot, but it doesn't really feel like a postcard. Darn those pesky challenge details! Meeting the challenge aside, I really think it's well done. Some of the white may be blown, but it looks fine to me. I think the puffy clouds complement the snow quite well, and I like the negative space at the top. I too think it could be a Coke add. In a different challenge this could score a lot higher. The only thing I don't like is the bit of snow behind the left foot. It ruins the illusion that he's sitting at the apex of a humongous mound of snow.

Very whimisical and effective. As a statement of time, it works very well - place also depending on what would be on the back. Different from the norm in this challenge and well thought out.

Nice concept. Wished there was a bit more contrast. Levels or an unsharp mask to remove a bit of fog possibly? 7 because the concept is great.

This is interesting but borderlines more on a greeting card for me then a post card. I would have liked to know where he was chillin`. I like the concept tho.
