I believe the crop on this shot just doesn't work as well as the lighting or lack thereof.

Not that you can control the sun or anything, but I would have liked it better if the sun was illuminating his back so all the muscles would stand out more.

Another image that could be well used as a motivational poster in a gym or workout room. Crisp and sharp imparting a sense of power and health. Easily a top fifteen image.
