Nice! The camera actually simulates the petting of a dog. We're not merely seeing a texture, we're experiencing it vicariously. In other words, you're conveying not just the surface, but how the surface is being touched.
I'm giving you a Posthumous Blue Ribbon simply for fulfilling the challenge in such an exquisite way.

| nice shot. the texture is definitely defined, but i might like it a bit more if we saw more of your dog's face so i could get a sense of his/her personality |

A solid entry into the challenge, it meets the criteria in a different and unique way. From a technical standpoint, the image is a more than adequate
with a few minor issues that are not worth mentioning. The artistic impact is rather bland and uninteresting, but the unique viewpoint is a plus. A little more time taken with composition would have given the author a better score. |
