I rushed the editing in the original a little. Also, after several recent entries that received comments saying that they lacked contrast, I attempted to please DPC voters and really make this pop with vivid colors. I think that this was a mistake and I surely would have scored even better with the revised editing.

I can see the efforts here in getting the exposure right on all the four Orchids. I am not able to appreciate the border though. Great result.

I like the sense of them glowing in the dark. I think that red border really takes away from the beauty of the orchids.
