such a brilliant image .. its so grungy with the fur, the contrasts and your processing & i love the way they're all squeezed up so close ..
its normal for brilliant photographs to get a few low scores but if this was entered when the olympics were going on then that would explain the 11 1's .. i've noticed that at that time heaps of amazing images, like this one, get way more low scores than they would ordinarily ..
pretty sad really .. :)

One thing I've never got to grips with in my short time on DPC, is that so many images can have a range all the way through the scale. By all laws of average, you wouldn't expect much more than a range of 5, the eleven 1s on this one is really odd though. I voted 8, but had I been through more on my recheck, I would have bumped it to 9 (I didn't give any 10s this time and very few 9s). Personally, I think it should have been top 10 at least, probably even higher. Thanks for your comment on mine during the challenge btw, it was just about the most favourable comment I had during the challenge.

Can't explain the 1's, there's no explanation for them, that's just crazy! You got a 9 from me during voting, so I can't even begin to wonder where they are coming from.
