I initially wanted to submit this , but it wouldn't be legal under basic editing, as I had to clone out distracting buildings at the horizon.

So instead, I took the same shot at night using a couple of flashes, following by this workflow:

Invert colors
Desaturate all but the cyan channel
Shift the cyan channel by 180 degrees, so it turns back into red

Unfortunately, the same distracting buildings had some lights on, hence the black dots. I still like the result.

Thanks for looking.

Very unique subject, pp and shot altogether. I think the black dots across the horizon are a bit distracting, but I'm looking forward to reading more about how you took/processed this. Great coloring.

Very interesting - an infrared view I would guess. Or infrared like which is almost the same thing. The only problems I see with this are the fence post tops in the background which distract and don't contribute to the overall composition in any way. Very interesting effect. However, I don't think it fits the overall intent of the challenge and would have worked better as an entry in an abstract challenge. I'll split the difference. :>)

I really like this. Some people might not like the overexposure/high key but I do.
