 Just wastin' time....

I wanted to give a relaxed feeling with this shot. Taken at sunset with a 10-stop ND filter.


Post Challenge: Not that anyone is going to read comments on a photo that finished so far down in the challenge, but thanks to all who voted and commented. The smudges in the front are actually rocks submerged just below the water surface. I thought they added a little element of interest to the image, but obviously it was more distracting than helpful. Thanks for comments that helped me realize that.

As far as Otis Redding not being "Rock", he's in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame! :)

I don't think the rocks appear as smudges - they appear as rocks under the surface to me... but as you've undoubtedly figured out by now, speed voters don't usually stop to see what they're looking at sometimes. And I got a comment that Janis Joplin isn't rock either.... kids these days, I tell ya....

lovely shot, although I'm finding those shapes (underwater rocks?) a little distracting

Those patches of brightness at the bottom spoil it a bit, but other than that, it's a nice image for a great song title.

Nice shot, tones are great here, but im somewhat distracted by those smudges in the foreground, or is it glare of some sort?
