It's back to stock type photos for me this week after last weeks creative but scary entry!
White duck eggs hollowed out. Coat hanger inserted into daffodil stem, held fast on lump of blue tack in bottom of egg. If you zoom in you can still see the coat hanger on the middle egg. Opps.
Unfortunately my D700 is back at Nikon for repair under warranty so had to use my wife's D40. Couldn't get my flashes to trigger from it so had to use modeling bulbs only to light the flowers. Also needed to use a lot more sharpening than usual!
Basic editing of crop, levels, curves, sharpening, border, resize, sharpening, save for web.
I am pleased with this one so hope it makes a six plus. However, with such a popular topic this week I am sure the pro's will be out in force with their 7 plus scores. |

| A really interesting shot, very clever concept. I think with one more egg being completely whole it would feel more complete, but the colors and lighting look great. |

| Love the idea, really creative. I'd have liked it more if the first egg contained a bud, the middle one a partially open flower, and the third as is. Just a suggestion. |
