 Autumn Leaves is a song by a German band called Evereve, they're a bit of a metal/punk/cyber/weird shit band.

The song is actually talking about Autumn leaving, so it becomes winter and all goes cold and dark. I think so at least.

Processing consists of levels/curves on leaf and dirt separately. Most of the stuff was done in Lightroom such as clarity all the way up, warming it up a bit with white balance, lowering brightness and raising contrast, increasing saturation in the yellows and reds and adding a slight vignette. In PS I highpassed everything to make it pop a little bit.

I sharpened this with Manny Librodo's technique with the lighten/darken blending mode thing.

Resize, sharpen, SFW, try and find title to fit ;)

I don't normally take pictures of leaves and plants and what have you but I like this. I like the simplicity and the colours and the warmth and the fact that it is what it is- an autumnal leaf that fell from the tree (it's autumn here in NZ by the way).

Still, I predict a 6.0!

I like the vignette here and the light. Photo is a bit small, you can go to 720 pixels wide for a member challenge. An 8 from me.
