| I don't get the beautiful ballet feel to this. It's more like someone hung themself in a very unusual way. Just my first thought when I saw it. |

Well. . .it actually could maybe be someone "hanging", but not really because why would a hand and a foot be together. When studying it even for a minute, you can see the artistry of the "after capture" and see it as an interesting interpretation of. . .well. . .just ART! I like it! And I'm liking your composition I've seen on a couple with the slightly diagonal background.
It would certainly be a conversation piece hanging on a wall, wouldn't it :) |

| Well, I thought total exhaustion, foot and hand thrown out and hanging off the bed,( a top bunk) but my husband saw it and said 'someone born unusual.' |

if it was the contrast between what is beautiful and what isn't. the winner would be hands down. feet can't compete. i love this contrast you portrayed.
i try to be as positive as i possible can but, i must say to you that the overlay in this image is totally unnecessary in fact i think is outright distracting. though, as usual the feelings or subtle meanings of your photography is top shelf. i hope that doesn't disappoint you. |

the lines of the hand and foot and the way they are positioned together are very beautiful and artistic .. i love the wrinkles and the interesting feel your texture gives this image .. it has a dreamy quality ...
now for the story ..
after a torrid night judy and mike fell into a satisfied stupor .. limbs hard to distinguish one from the other .. the dance of life .. :)
should i delete that .. no .. its wot came into my mind and you asked for it . !!!..:)

| You came in from a long day of shooting flowers and deceided to set for a while. You laid your camera under your chair, and the camera saw an image so beautiful, that it knew you would adore, snapped the photo for you. When you awoke you told your sister and she is disbelieving. |

| I'm going to comment before I read any of the other comments as I want to be completely candid on this. It appears to be a murder victim strung up in some bizarre manner. Now that's my initial reaction to this. If I were to read more into it, I might say it appears to be a superimposed image to give the impression of a ballet dancer as you have indicated in the title. However, it's a little too morose in character to transmit that very well. Without the title to define it, it could be anything. It is however, very well done. |

You are sitting on the bottom bunk of a bunk bed. That's your sister's foot and hand. She's just woken up, and she's reaching down to grab the cup of coffee (or maybe a cold beer) that someone was nice enough to put on the night stand. You are in a rented cabin in the Ozarks and none too happy that the windows need washing.
