I'd love to know what he's about to hit....

I see the motion but I don't think it's abstract - nice bw contrast

Pls explain what is abstract here...

Good capture of motion with a hammer. Not an abstract

Good job showing motion, not sure if this is abstract.

No sense of abstract for me in this shot whatsoever, and the motion is a little too subtle.

nice motion blur, but no abstractness scores this poorly in this challenge. Beyond that, the lines in the background and the pnuematic hose curving in and out of the bottom edge hurt the composition. Needs a bit more midtone contrast and more detail in the blacks to really pop as a B+W. Nice try.

IMO not abstract

Oh boy, T&G hardwood floor installation. Makes my lower back ache just looking at this.
I would've liked a bit more contrast on this. Maybe more "abstractness," but that's all sorta personal opinion, I guess.

What's the old saying?....when in doubt, use a bigger hammer!

abstract?

There is some motion, but not nearly enough and it's lacking abstract at all.

i like the processing. the contrast is nice and i think b&w works very well. his sweatshirt and jeans seem a bit too dark, but that could also be my monitor.

Interesting image, but not abstract enough in my opinion, and only a very small portion of the image depicts motion

It's interesting, but not very abstract. It also seems a little dark.
