Yeah, I'll say:-) - they birds of prey are even more difficult to capture on camera with sharp detail. Nice details and close-up of this beautiful hawk. |

you did real well in catching this one. I bought a lens like you have listed here for my Canon,from a guy on amazon about two weeks ago. He sent one for a Nikon, now he will not answer his emails. So I have one for Nikon if you some one who needs one.
Ohh sorry I got carried away. Love your photo. I'm green with envy. |

one of my fav birds and very common where i'm from. the lighting is perfect and the pose is exceptional. you better have a super shot for the challenge because this is almost perfect. |

This is a lovely close up. I like that I can see the little hairs at the base of his beak.
They are difficult to photograph in the wild because birds of prey are always so alert to their surroundings, and anything moving will have their attention quickly. You must have been close, as I see your reflection in his eye. |
