 70-200mm zoom lens, on a telescope mount, zoomed in and out over a 3 minute period. Lens was pointed at orion for this shot, that's what that pink blur is on the bottom of the photo, orion's nebula.

The noise doesn't enhance this photo in any way for me, and what is left is a pretty basic star-trail shot that doesn't really pique my interest.

Awesome concept and title, but it might be better with darker, richer blacks. I can see quite a bit of noise throughout, but then again, everyone's screen is calibrated differently :/
